ANNOUNCEMENT Message from Superintendent Young: During this time of recovery following the recent storm, please know that you remain in my thoughts and prayers. I recognize that many in our community are facing challenges, and I want you to know that you are not facing them alone. I am deeply appreciative of everyone who continue working day and night to restore services, secure our area, and support families during this time. The dedication and willingness to serve under difficult conditions reflect the very best of our community. Several areas of the district, including the central office, are currently without power, and damage assessments are still in progress. As we move forward, our primary focus remains the safety, health, and well-being of our students, staff, and families as you care for your households and support one another. This is a moment for unity, patience, and vigilance. The strength of the Choctaw family has always been rooted in looking out for one another, and that spirit will carry us through. Please continue to monitor communication from our local emergency management center as well as our Facebook page and website. Thank you for your resilience, understanding, and continued support of one another. Together, we will recover and move forward—stronger, wiser, and united in Choctaw pride. With Choctaw Pride, Tony Young, Superintendent West Tallahatchie School District
